Perfect shoe for difficult feet
Despite my very difficult feet (flat feet, hammer toes, etc.), I can always walk easily in birch sandals because of the good footbed and the high quality of the workmanship.

On my first order I
With my first order, I received two left shoes, which I had to return immediately. The second order was fine, as always.

The Original Footbed

Deep heel cup
The particularly deep heel support supports the foot tissue and keeps the heel bone stable in its natural position. This provides the foot with almost the same level of support in a sandal as in a closed shoe.

Internal and external longitudinal arch supports
The arch supports, which run along the side edges of the footbed, enclose the tarsal bones inside and out, providing the foot with the necessary stability when walking.

Transverse arch support
The transverse arch support running across the center of the footbed stabilizes the metatarsal bones. This supports a natural, straight, and firm foot position.

Toe grabber
The front part of the footbed, near the toes, is equipped with raised toes. These toe grippers keep the toes relaxed and spread in their natural position. The raised toes also support the natural rolling motion of the toes.
